Living room Cardio

This is a beginner cardio workout that can be done anywhere you have a little space to move. I offer ways to progress so that you can come back to this protocol over and over again building on your indurance.
Cardiovascular activity is an essential practice of any exercise routine. Your exercise routine should include regular cardio ideally at least two days a week along with strength training (upper and lower body) weekly. Both cardio and strength training are the foundation of a well balanced active lifestyle.

Basic cold weather cardio workout protocol: Repeat protocol for 3 rounds. First round 40 secs of the exercise with a 20 sec rest, second round 30 secs of exercise with 20 secs of rest, third round 20 secs of exercise/20 secs of rest (Modifications/progressions reviewed in video) Remember to always listen to your body!

  1. Marching in place

  2. step out jacks

  3. circular side shuffle

  4. air squats

  5. air punches side to side
