Meet Erin – Your Coach in Wellness

Erin, the heart behind Verdure Fitness & Health, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a rich background in healthcare and fitness. Since graduating in 2009, she has worked in oncology, providing compassionate care to patients and witnessing firsthand the role movement plays in healing and quality of life. Before graduate school, Erin served as a labor and delivery nurse, nurturing new beginnings.

Her passion for fitness began long before her medical career. A competitive athlete from an early age, Erin became a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine in 2013. Over the years, she has explored and mastered multiple disciplines—endurance sports, bodybuilding, HIIT, yoga, and functional movement—always with a focus on meeting each client’s needs. Her coaching style blends encouragement with “tough love,” pushing you just enough to help you achieve your goals.

Specializing in the Mature Population

Erin has developed a unique niche in working with older adults, helping them understand that exercise is not only possible—it’s essential. She emphasizes that you can exercise anywhere, with or without fancy equipment. Her philosophy, shaped by years of caring for patients with cancer, centers on movement as medicine and the power we all have to age well.

Verdure Fitness & Health offers concierge wellness programs via live online sessions, allowing you to train from the comfort of your home—or even outdoors in nature. In-person training is available in the Weaverville and Asheville areas, with opportunities for travel to bring programs to you wherever you are. Whether you’re an individual, a family, or a group of friends, Erin tailors each program to fit your needs and goals.
